年少轻狂，幸福时光。

回家五天了，终于把在印度买的Into the Wild看完。还是最喜欢Chris McCandless写给Ron老爷子的信，摘抄了下来。关于探索未知的勇气，关于走出自己comfort zone的决心，是我喜欢这个故事的根本原因。Ron是个住在南加州的老头，几十年前妻儿葬身车轮后，他一直以酗酒来麻痹自己，为人孤僻，直到他遇到了Chris McCandless。看了原著才知道，Ron在Chris离开后真的改变了自己的生活态度。他离开自己的小屋，开始在背包客聚居地沙滩安营扎寨，在公路上为hitchhikers提供搭便车服务也成了例行。直到有一天，他搭载的几个游客在听了他诉说的与Chris的故事之后，拿出了最新报纸，告诉了他Chris已经在阿拉斯加死亡的消息。老头懵了。在Chris走后，他唯一向上帝祈祷的就是这个孩子能够平安归来，没想到却等来如此结局。尔后，Ron还是保持着年轻的心态，只是他再也没有去过教堂。 

Ron, I really enjoy all the help you have given me and the times that we spent together. I hope that you will not be too depressed by our parting. It may be a very long time before we see each other again. But providing that I get through this Alanskan Deal in one piece you will be hearing from me again in the future. I'd like to repeat the advice I gave you before, in that I think you really should make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one piece of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. They very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and dirfferent sun. If you want to get more out of life, Ron, you must lose your inclination for monotonous security and adopt a helter-skelter syle of life that will at first appear to you to be crazy. But once you become accustomed to such a life you will see its full meaning and its incredible beauty. And so, Ron, in short, get out of Salton City and hit the road. I guarantee you will be very glad you did. But I fear that you will ignore my advice. You think that I am stubborn, but chance on your drive back to see one of the greatest sights on earth, the Grand Canyon, something every American should see at least once in his life. But for some reason incomprehensible to me you wanted nothing but to bolt for home as quickly as possible, right back to the same situation which you see day after day after day. I fear you will follow this same inclination in the future and thus fail to discover all the wonderful things that God has place. Move around, be nomadic, make each day a new horizon. You are still going to live a long time, Ron, and it would be a shame if you did not take the opportunity to revolutionize your life and move into an entirely new realm of experience.

You are wrong if you think Joy emanates only or principally from human relationships. God has placed it all around us. It is in everything and anything we might experience. We just have to have the courage to turn against our habitual lifestyle and engage in unconventional living.

My point is that you do not need me or anyone else around to bring this new kind of light in your life. It is simply waiting out there for you to grasp it, and all you have to do is reach for it. The only person you are fighting is yourself and your stubbornness to engage in new circumstances.

Ron, I really hope that as soon as you can you will get out of Salton City, put a little camper on the back of your pickup, and start seeing some of the great work that God has done here in the American West. You will see things and meet people and there is much to learn from them. And you must do it economy style, no motels, do your own cooking, as a general rule spend as little as possible and you will enjoy it much more immensely. I hope that the next time I see you, you will be a new man with a vast array of new adventures and experiences behind you. Don't hesitate or allow yourself to make excuses. Just get out and do it. Just get out and do it. You will be very, very glad that you did.

老妈9月跟老同学去大连自助游，老爸10月去北京跑马拉松。这样的生活态度让我很欣慰。

这两天买书有点小疯狂，算是借着书展的东风外加在印度时的好习惯吧。

走过华亭宾馆，五步一岗，十步一哨。 

至于刘翔，好在他赶上了好时代，全民讨伐没有落在他头上，主流媒体还是宽容的态度。

约了Yuping姐，果然一见如故。聊了三小时也不够把在GPS的故事说明白。我很想明天就回去，但我很清楚这一切得建立在经济独立的基础上。没想到Abhi喜欢舒米……怎么在印度就没想到聊起这个呢。

Yuping说得对，从GPS回来后，对人生的理解也不同了。是甘于平淡还是不走寻常路，这同样也是Abhi带给我们的思考。今天起，要认真税法，认真雅思。
